These muzzles are designed to give dogs the freedom to be a dog! Dogs wearing muzzles shouldn't live restricted lives or miss out on all the doggy things they can do without one.

This is why these muzzles are:
✚ Comfortable
✚ Empowering
✚ Hardwearing

If dogs need to wear a muzzle while in training or due to breed specific legislation, we believe they should still be able to sniff, eat, drink, and more without restriction.

These muzzles have a purpose-built treat hole, so you can easily continue training while wearing.

Muzzle Movement are eager to work to improve the welfare and comfort of dogs when muzzled in a veterinary setting, as well as support veterinary staff to remain safe. We know that many dogs who never wear a muzzle in day-to-day life may need muzzling at the vets and we encourage muzzle training of all dogs in case of emergency.

Muzzle Movement Muzzles are made in the UK from injection-molded polyethylene plastic. They are strong and sturdy, and are designed to help prevent bites. They are also lightweight and comfortable for dogs. The strapping is genuine Biothane (PVC coated webbing), which is waterproof and easy to clean. These muzzles are designed with comfort and welfare in mind, and allow dogs to eat, drink and pant fully while wearing a muzzle.

Muzzle Measurements:

We have gathered the internal measurements of each of the available muzzles, so you can see the dimensions. This allows you to compare to your current muzzle, or see if your dogs measurements would fit.

You will need your individual dogs measurements before you are able to use this chart.

Measurements are taken internally, as it's the internal space in which your dogs need to fit.

Recommended Size Range:

We have developed a size range, to help you understand what measurements are likely to fit within each muzzle. It is important that your dogs measurements fit within the length, width and height measurement range. If your dog fits within the length and height, but the width is narrow, the muzzle will not fill well over your dogs cheeks which is likely to cause discomfort.

If your dogs measurements fit within the width and height, but the length is too short, the muzzle will sit too far back in front of your dogs nose, which is likely to obstruct their vision and cause the muzzle to push back into their face as they sniff the ground.

If your dogs measurements fit within the length and width, but the height is too small, your dog will not be able to pant fully and the muzzle will only be able to be worn for short periods.

Please Note: The recommended additional cms required for a full pant varies dependant on the size of the dog. The smaller the dog, the smaller the additional cms that need to be added to the height because their face is smaller. If we added the same amount of height to a spaniels face, as we do for a German shepherd, then the muzzle would be too deep and provide the spaniel with too much unusable space below the bottom of their pant.

You cannot rely on circumference alone, circumference would mean wide but not deep, or deep and very narrow. Circumference is only to be used in conjunction with other measurements.
