Tube blankets are one of the most versatile blankets and are great for pre-op and post-op. The patient lies within the “U” shaped area, therefore keeping the non-sterile blanket clear of the surgical draping.

Actively warming through all phases of surgery is just as important for animals as it is for humans. The use of warm air before, during and after surgery is a safe and effective way to reduce infections and recovery time. These blankets are available in a wide variety of configurations and offer a “funnel” opening to fit any blower. Blankets may be placed on, around or under and anaesthetized patient. Forced air warming “standard blankets” are single-patient-use designs made from durable exam gown materials. While these blankets are not intended for reuse, it is common practice for many of our customers to clean them with a towel or rinse them off and dry them by running them on the blower.
