Buffered Formalin 10%

A ready to use 10% solution of buffered formalin. It is the most commonly used general purpose routine fixative for tissue specimens. This solution is hypotonic in buffer ions and has a pH of 6.8, and tends to reduce the formation of formalin pigment.
