Big-O Couplands Elevator

Used for wedging between the root and the crestal bone of the socket (the application point) and then gently rotating the handle. They have a large American style handle for a comfortable grip and maximum mechanical advantage so only small force is required.

Uses

- Used to loosen a tooth root as part of tooth extraction.

- Also can be used to cut the epithelial attachment to the tooth.

BO201: Couplands elevator No 1 (3mm) - Ideal for most dog teeth and the canine teeth in cats.

BO202: Feline Slim elevator - Ideal for all cat teeth (other than the canine teeth), very small dog teeth and retained dog tooth roots

How to use

- To be used by wedging the tip between root and crestal bone & then rotating only.

- Repeat action at all sites around the tooth.

- Keep repeating at 2 or 3 sites where the instrument finds good purchase.

This instrument should be sterilized prior to use on each animal

This instrument can not be guaranteed due to the nature of its use & the need for the tip section to be thin.
