BD Plastipak™ Syringes are suitable for use in Medical and Veterinary applications. The barrel has bold-scale printing to aid a more accurate dosage of medication during use. Special silicone lubrication ensures that the plunger moves smoothly and easily, with a retaining ring to prevent accidental plunger withdrawal. The latex free stopper prevents leakage of medication around the plunger and acts as an indicator for measuring the syringe contents. The design of finger-grip flanges (wings on the syringe barrel) ensure stability and comfort during injection by providing an area of surface for the index finger and middle finger to grasp during aspiration or administration.
