Microbiological Testing

ANIGENE Professional Chlorine Tablets have been proven to be effective under the following microbiological test conditions:

  • EN 16438 (yeasticidal, fungicidal)

ANIGENE Professional Chlorine Tablets are effective against Mycobacterium Bovis (M. Bovis) which causes Bovine Tuberculosis.

To aid in the prevention of bovine tuberculosis outbreaks, the tablets provide an economic and convenient solution for the disinfection of equipment used for the handling or badgers or other mammals, by animal health professionals.

Notifiable Disease Applications

Each tablet liberates 1000 parts per million (ppm) of available chlorine per 1 litre of water.

This disinfectant product has been approved for disinfection of inanimate surfaces where a DEFRA-approved or DAERA-approved product is required to be used under the control legislation for the following specific disease(s) orders:

  • General Orders at the dilution rate of 1:299 parts water
  • Foot & Mouth Disease at the dilution rate of 1:299 parts water
  • Swine Vesicular Disease at the dilution rate of 1:299 parts water
  • Poultry Diseases including Avian Influenza, Influenza of Avian Origin in Mammals, Newcastle Disease, Paramyxovirus at a dilution rate of 1:299 parts water
