The Cardiff Aldasorber Medical Filter is of robust construction with a poly-laminated, wipe-clean outer surface and is easily connected to any anaesthetic apparatus by use of a suitable duct/ expiratory valve. The inlet and cap are integral and the connector designed to accept a standard 22mm anaesthetic tube from the duct / expiratory valve.
Each filter is supplied in a distinctive blue coloured polyethylene bag.

This free-standing filter can be placed on the trolley or on the floor with absolute safety.
In normal clinical conditions, the Cardiff Aldasorber Medical Filter will provide between 6 and 18 hours of absorptive capacity (dependent on gas flow and concentration of organic anaesthetic agent utilised).
The exhaustion point is indicated by the weight gain of the unit. When the new active filter is supplied, it weighs 1200g. When exhausted, it weighs 1400g.
